Hello everybody,Here it is 2 days after the sponsorship event and I am still jazzed. First I would like to thank all the panelists for such thought provoking, emotional, informative and heartfelt shares of their service experience in real life and real time. It seems to me that God must have had a hand in this thing, the topic matches to personalities, drop outs to drop ins and the impact of your shares was incredible.Committee members it has been a pleasure and an honor to work with all of you these last 3 months, watching the committee grow and the ideas flow. Thank you all so much for your time and effort. There are so many thanks I want to give especially to Anita and Amber, without their commitment to the event it never would have come together. Ed, Cliff and Christy thank you so much for putting the place together and then taking it down. Annette you did a wonderful job as Secretary, your notes were concise and to the point.Panelists, you made me smile, cry, laugh and think, I can not thank you all enough for the service you have done for the AA community and for me personally. I am a watcher an I have watched all of you closely. Your love of service and work ethic are an inspiration.Anne C. and Dave A., your descriptions of service really set the tone for the event you both were thorough and engaging. Anne M. and Garry B., you both brought different sides of mentoring to the front and allowed the audience to see that each sponsee has their own path to follow and all you can do is be a guide. Eric K., your gentle spirit filled the room and showed me why we need to rotate in and out of AA service to let the next AA member be of service also.Patty K. and Roberto F., service sponsorship allows us to become engaged with AA, showing the way for the sponsee. Your shares kept me on the edge of my seat, even after that big lunch, a pretty mean feat in itself. Reilly K. and Teresa B., your balance between stepping up and stepping back really made me look at where I am at in my service and where I need to be, and that was what this whole event was about.Once again I am humbled by the commitment of the panelists and committee, as a individual "I" could have not done this but as a group we have shone like The "AA Rock-Stars" we are ! (Just a little bit of humor)
